Kristen spent her first year at DVF focusing on launches, partnerships, collaborations and all personal press pertaining to the designer. Thereafter, she quickly became the lead for all of DVF’s global public relations efforts working directly with Diane and amassing a wide array of responsibilities including corporate communications, collection coverage and special projects for the brand. With the rise of the company’s hit television show, “House of DVF” on E! as well as the release of Diane’s memoir, “The Woman I Wanted To Be”, Kristen spearheaded press for both major initiatives and successfully garnered worldwide recognition for these significant brand milestones.
Kristen Ronan has over ten years of public relations experience at several major agencies as well as in-house for a world renowned designer and, most recently, for a multi-billion dollar fashion/tech company.
Kristen started her career at RF|Binder Partners and WPP Group handling home improvement/decor and beauty PR, focusing on strategy development and corporate brand communication. From there, she moved on to Paul Wilmot Communications (PWC) where she delved into the fashion industry and had the opportunity to lead account teams for supermodel Iman, De Beers, JOE’S Jeans, Donna Karan and L.A.M.B., among others. Towards the end of her time at PWC, Kristen focused primarily on new business acquisition and 360 strategic counsel for existing clients agency-wide. After receiving an offer from Diane von Furstenberg (DVF), she decided to pursue her career goal of working in-house for a major designer and left PWC.
It was at the start of 2015 that Kristen chose to make a change and move to Farfetch. During her time at the luxury e-commerce company, Kristen spearheaded press efforts in the United States for the brand and led the internal team through its billion-dollar valuation, its first ever brick and mortar acquisition and several major partnerships. Her time at Farfetch was a rewarding experience and afforded her the opportunity to learn a great deal about the tech world and all of the aspects associated with handling communications for a company in that field. However, after evaluating her career trajectory, Kristen chose to launch her own PR consultancy thereby lending her expertise and experience to brands in need of communications counsel.
